See and Do
Haworth is an all year round tourist area, certainly it attracts many visitors throughout the year who come to see the Bronte Parsonage Museum and the Worth Valley Railway as well as other events including the excellent annual and seasonal events such as regular vintage steam trains arriving at the Worth Valley railway, the “Discover Christmas Past” event during December and the popular 40’S weekend in May. A useful information booklet with a number of local attractions, events, restaurants and useful telephone numbers is provided for our guests.

For those wanting to explore further afield the city of Leeds is excellent for a spot of designer shopping, whilst the likes of Bradford, Halifax and Huddersfield have numerous attractions such as the excellent Alhambra theatre and National Media Photography museum, IMAX screen cinema in Bradford and the famous “Salts” Mill at Saltaire, host to the David Hockney art collection.

Skipton Castle, Bolton Abbey and the beautiful Yorkshire Dales are located in nearby Skipton, whilst Halifax offers the likes of the Dean Clough Art Gallery, Victoria Theatre and the historic Piece Hall yard and finally Huddersfield and nearby Holmfirth – the “Last of the Summer Wine” country.
